Warren County deputies have arrested a Truesdale man for an alleged sexual assault against a child in 2015.
Antwian Pierce, 37, was arrested March 18 and charged with first-degree child molestation. Investigators opened the case last December, after the victim told a health care professional about the assault, according to a sheriff’s department report.
The victim told deputies that in 2015, when she was less than 10 years old, Pierce had molested her at her home in Warrenton.
When deputies spoke to Pierce, he allegedly stated he had made a mistake while under the influence of cocaine and heroin. Pierce allegedly confirmed that he had molested the victim in 2015, the sheriff’s department said.
Pierce was put in custody at the Warren County Jail. He had a bond hearing set for March 25.
