Mrs. Lois Elsie Frick (nee: Temme) of Warrenton passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Oak Pointe of Warrenton. She was born on July 3, 1929, in Barnes, Kansas to the late Rev. Louis and Elsie Temme (nee: Umbach). Lois had reached the age of 92 years.
Lois was united in marriage to Benjamin Frick in 1955 and shared 59 wonderful years together. To this union, two daughters were born, Miriam and Katie. Lois worked at The Missouri Bank for 23 years. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking bus trips with her church group, raising beautiful flowering plants and going on many walks. Lois was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Those that are grateful for having shared in Lois' life are her children, Miriam Lohmann and husband Willi of Portland, OR, and Katie McDowell and husband Steve of Warrenton; two granddaughters, Adrienne and Natalie McDowell, both of St. Charles; dear brother-in-law, Robert Frick of Warrenton, Ron Bryant of North Carolina and sister-in-law Virginia Temme of NB; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin Frick; her parents, Rev. Louis and Elsie (Umbach) Temme; four brothers, Ralph Temme, Norman Temme, Harold Temme and Elton Temme; and two sisters, Anita Carter and Carol Bryant. She was a dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Lois will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, March 18, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Funeral services will begin at noon, also at the church. Burial will follow at the Warrenton City Cemetery.
