I read the article in last week’ weeks Record (“We Shall Remember”) and was very disappointed. Nowhere was the fact that the Marthasville American Legion raised over $4,000 for this year’s wreath placing at local cemeteries nor was Andrea Romaker, who initiated this drive, mentioned.
She started it last year in memory of her son Tyler Romaker, an Army officer who was killed in an off-duty motorcycle accident. She is the driving force behind this effort.
