To the Editor,
Many are wondering why the service flags and POW/MIA flag are not flying at the Tribute To Veterans Memorial. These last rounds of high-wind storms have damaged the flags, the flag grommets and the steel hardware that attach the flags.
We have new hardware and new flags on order, but have not been able to get delivery. Our team is working very hard to remedy the situation.
To those of you who have given through our Flag Donor Program, our sincere apologies. Our hands are tied until the parts come in.
Again, thank you for your tremendous support.
