Mr. Lester John Pieper of Warrenton, MO, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was born September 25, 1936, to Louis and Annie (Nee: Blake) Peiper. He had reached the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 22 days.
Lester spent 10 years of his life serving his country proudly in the MO. Army National Guard as a cook. He also enjoyed cooking for his family. He was born and raised in Warrenton and was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawk Point. He raised cattle and chickens on his property and tended the garden with his wife Lee. He also spent many years as a volunteer firefighter. Lester never met a stranger and he could always be found with a Milwaukee’s Best beer in his hand.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Annie; brother, Ollie Pieper, and an infant sister. He is survived by his children Sherry Smart (Dale), Scott Pieper (Kathy), Mike Kresyman, John Kresyman (Kathy), Shelly Crouthers (Mike); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many other friends and family.
We will celebrate the Life of Lester John Pieper, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, MO.
