Lavern T. Reinhardt 93, Washington, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Orville Reinhardt; She is survived by her two sons, Jerry O. (Pat) Reinhardt of Augusta and , Chris A. Reinhardt, of Marthasville; daughter, Beverly A. (Allen) Naughton, of Anniston, Alabama; sister, Jeanette (Clarence) Sehrt; grandchildren, Michele, Pam, Doug and Adam; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Thilking, mother, Hilda Thilking, husband, Orville Reinhardt. Lavern was baptized on January 9, 1927 by K. Barkau and confirmed at Evangelical and Reformed Church at Femme Osage on May 5, 1940 by Reverend Joseph Mann. Her memory verse was "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew: 18, 20. Lavern and Orville were married on May 1, 1948 at Femme Osage Church in Femme Osage. She was a member of the United Church of Christ at Femme Osage, Women's Fellowship, and a life member of VFW Post Auxiliary 5751 New Melle, Missouri. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at Pitman Funeral Home, 5542 Walnut Street, Augusta, from 2:30 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Femme Osage UCC, Augusta, 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Femme Osage UCC Cemetery, in Augusta.
