Larry J. Rose of New Florence, formerly of Warrenton, passed away on February 19, at the age of 91.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ann Rose (nee: Breedlove); He is survived by his son, Michael "Mike" Rose; two daughters, Jackie Rose, Elaine Delobar (Rose); two sisters, Saundra Basile (Rose) Lou, Pamela French (Rose); many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Rose, mother, Edna Rose (nee: Killman), first wife, Iris Rose (Heslop), second wife, Ann Rose (Huff), brother, Bob Rose, sister, Nev Baumstark (Rose), grandson, Jared Michael Rose.
Larry served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. He lived and worked in Warrenton for several years. Larry worked at CJ Concrete Products for 30 years and was known by many. He loved his Family and Crappie fishing. Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held February 25, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will be February 26, at 10 a.m. at the Faith Christian Family Church in Warrenton. Memorials can be made in honor of Larry to the American Cancer Society in care of Pitman Funeral Home.
