Mr. Larry Gene Marshall of Warrenton, passed away on Friday, December 26, at his home. He was born on September 18, 1946 in St. Louis, to the late Lawrence and Leona (nee: Smith) Marshall. Larry had reached the age of 79 years.
Larry was united in marriage to Karen Sue Dorflinger on September 23, 1967 in Warrenton. Together they celebrated 58 wonderful years. This union was blessed with two children, Kim and Phil. Larry was employed at McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) for over 30 years. He enjoyed classic cars and loved going to various car shows in the area. He also enjoyed watching old western and war movies, as well as traveling with Karen, after he retired. Larry thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors. He liked riding his tractor, mowing and caring for his property, which he took great pride in doing. Larry was a loving husband and caring father and he will be greatly missed by his family and close friends.
Larry Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Leona; three siblings, Roger Marshall, Joyce Fueller and Jim Marshall. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; two children, Kim Hamid and Phil Marshall; three siblings, Diana Hensley, Dave Marshall and wife Mary, and Candace Kuenz and husband Mark; other relatives and many friends.
