Pastor Larry Don Nail, of Warrenton, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, at his home. He was born on June 13, 1948, in Kennett, to the late Louie W. and Lois Faye (nee: Young) Nail. Larry had reached the age of 74 years.

Larry proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Pamela Edstrohm on June 22, 1968, in St. Louis. They celebrated over 54 years together.  This union was blessed with eight children. Larry earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering and then two Masters degree's and a Doctrine.  He served as a pastor for over 50 years, with the past 13 years at the Warrenton Baptist Church. He was also a pastor for Camelot Hospice in Warrenton. Larry had a variety of interests; including, archery, painting, computers, and woodworking.  Larry had many relationships with many people but he was especially close with his grandson, Joey. Larry was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and spiritual leader to many.

Pastor Larry Nail was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lois Nail. Surviving family members include his loving wife, Pamela Nail; eight children, Russel Nail and wife Angela, Carrie Brooks, Benjamin Nail and wife Trisha, Amanda Newsome and husband Matt, Jasmine Osborne, Kayla Nail, Alexandreia Nail, and Josiah Nail; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Janet Nail Hensel, and husband Richard, Linda Nail Kinder and husband David, Beverly Nail Hofferkamp and husband Ed and Lisa Nail Schomaker and husband Mark; many other relatives and close friends.
