Mrs. Kelly Brooke Hasenjaeger of Warrenton, MO, formerly of Iowa City, IA, and Geneseo, IL, passed away on October 31, 2020. She was born, June 22, 1969, in Geneseo, IL, to Gerald Lee and Linda Colleen (Nee: Hickenbottom) Ristau. She had reached the age of 51 years, 4 months, and 9 days.
Kelly was high school sweethearts with Don Hasenjaeger and then they went their separate ways. 27 years later, with the help of Facebook, they rekindled their loved and were married on September 26, 2015. Kelly earned her Masters' degree and worked for the Warren County R3 School District. She enjoyed working outside in her garden and playing with her dogs that she treated like her children. Her weekend evenings were often spent singing in country bands. Sundays were spent watching football but she really loved watching WWE Wrestling.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Ristau; sister, Shauna Carmack. She is survived by her husband, Don Hasenjaeger; mother, Linda Ristau; brothers, Everett McCain, Jay Ristau; sisters Corrine Draper, Chris Swanson; many other friends and family.
We will be Celebrating the Life of Kelly, Thursday, November 5, 2020, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Service to remember her will start at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
