Kathleen Elizabeth Giesmann (nee Wortmann) passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of Frank Giesmann of Wentzville.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Stacy) Giesmann of O'Fallon and Mark Giesmann of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Gina (Jeff) Wilke of Foristell; two brothers, Jim Wortmann of Montgomery City and Joe (Barb) Wortmann of Josephville, Mo.; nine sisters, Rosella Schneider of O'Fallon, Lucille Rothermich of Troy, Virginia (Lennie) Reller of Old Monroe, Laverne (LeRoy) Vehige of Flint Hill, Margie Wortmann of Josephville, Millie (Bill) Eisenbath of Wentzville, Mary Ann (David) Brakensiek of Foristell, Barb (Marty) Schneider of Warrenton, and Carolyn Richardson of Josephville; six grandchildren: Danielle, Nick, Emma, Max, Ethan and Trey.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Wortmann, and mother, Evelyn Wortmann (nee Hemmer); and sister, Ethel Sommer.
Kathleen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville. She enjoyed quilting with her sisters and going to the casino. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 28 from 1-5 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway,.
A funeral will be held Monday, June 29, at 10 a.m., in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery.
