JoAnn Romaine, 81, O'Fallon, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Romaine. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Romaine; son, Randy R. (Monica) Hoff, of Wentzville; daughter, Mary Jo (Mark) Ruff, of Wentzville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Leo J. Peine; mother, Frances J. Peine (nee Glosemeyer); brothers, Orville A. Peine and Larry Peine; sisters, Jane Blackwell and Leora Adams. She loved gardening, especially taking care of flowers, traveling, and reading books. JoAnn enjoyed crocheting and donated many afghans to different organizations over the years. She took great pleasure in spending time with her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2020, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville, from 3-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, at the funeral home, at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles, Mo.
