John Wesley Moody passed away on February 9, at the age of 89. John was born December 1, 1933, in Cleburne County, AR to Curtis and Ebbie Moody nee Carlton.
He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret Moody nee Schomaker of Warrenton; two daughters, Linda (Robert) Snyder of Edwardsville, IL, Kathy (Bart) Duncan of Ferguson; brother, Farris Moody of Arkansas; sister, Ann Hazelwood of Arkansas; three grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle Bolyard) Snyder, Steven (Sadie) Snyder, Thomas (Kim) Snyder; 3 great-grandchildren, Loretta, Duke, and Marnie. He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Moody, and his mother, Ebbie Moody.
John worked for McDonnell Douglas for 34 years. Enjoyed gardening, splitting wood, hunting, and fishing. John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in the care of Pitman Funeral Home.
