Joe B. Slatton of Dunedin, FL, passed away on April 25, 2022, surrounded by his daughters at his bedside.
He was united in marriage to the late Anna Mae Slatton on July 29, 1967. They celebrated 46 years of marriage. Together they had three children, Pam, Nan and Val. For thirteen years, Joe and his late wife Anna owned and operated Blue Bird Lanes in Warrenton. Joe enjoyed playing golf, an occasional bowling game and spending time with his best friends. Joe was blessed with many loving friends that enriched his life as much as he enriched all of ours. Anyone who knew Joe would say he was one of the most amazing, kindhearted men they ever knew.
Joe is survived by his three daughters, Pam Kellermann (Brian) of Union, MO, Nan Allen of Clearwater, FL, and Val Maki of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren, Brenan Allen, Trevor Kellermann, Monica Kellermann and Chloe Maki; and one brother, Jerry Slatton (Pat). The Slatton family sends a special thank you to the staff at Mease Life in Dunedin, FL, for their upstanding care and support of Joe.
A celebration of life will be held on May 14th from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Warrenton. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of Joe and Ann.
