Mrs. Joan Lillian Kiel (nee: McCorkell) of Warrenton, passed away on Tuesday, September 26. She was born on February 26, 1936, in Overland, to the late Harry and Mildred (nee: Hardesty) McCorkell.
Joan Kiel was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Kiel; her parents; and eight siblings. Surviving family members include her daughter, Janet McLain, her son Jim Kiel; one sister; brother-in-law; several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly; other relatives and many close family friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 21, beginning at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton.
