Mrs. Jennie Lee Bauer of Warrenton, passed away on Wednesday, December 25. She was born on August 12, 1932, to the late Vernon and Edna (nee:Creech) Jackson in Troy. Jennie had reached the age of 92 years.
Jennie was united in marriage to Edward Henry Bauer on July 14, 1951, in Troy. To this union were blessed with six children. She was one of the original members of Faith Christian Family Church and was very devoted to her faith and church. Jennie ran TLC Catering by Jennie, a food catering service for over 40 years. She enjoyed oil painting and working in the yard. Jennie adored and loved her big family, and spending time with them was important to her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Jennie is survived by her children, Edward Bauer, Peggy Schwerdt (Denny), Patricia Kertz, Todd Bauer (Suzanne) and Jennifer Schipper (Chris); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; one sister, Rosie Miller; other relatives and many friends. Jennie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Bauer; one daughter, Cheri Bauer; two sisters, Jean Rudloff and Jackie Karlock.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 10 A.M.- 12 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Celebration of Life Service will follow immediately at 12 P.M. also at the funeral home. Memorial donations will be made to Diabetes Research and Alzheimer's Research c/o Martin Funeral Home.
