Mr. James Leroy Steiner of Warrenton passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. He was born on April 18, 1941, in Gasconade, MO, to the late James and Cecilia Steiner (nee: Jacquin). James had reached the age of 80 years.
James was united in marriage to Karen Steiner (nee: Landolt) in 1963, and they shared many wonderful years together. To this union six children were born, Lisa, Martin, Nick, Jamie, Lori and Sara. James spent much of his time as a member of several associations and organizations, such as being a member of the National Rifle Association and was a Trap Shooter. He was also a member of the VFW, the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Hermann and an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. James loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. James was a beloved husband, loving father and grandfather, a dear brother and friend to many.
Those that are grateful for having shared in his life are his beloved wife, Karen; his children, Lisa Steiner, Martin Steiner, Nick (Susan) Steiner, Jamie (Toni) Steiner, Lori (Denny) Pratt and Sara (Levi) Graves; his grandchildren, Shayla, Peyton and Andrew Steiner and Addison and Avery Graves; dear siblings, Leo (Nina) Steiner, Fred (Betty) Steiner and Cecil (Ricky) Steiner, John (Kim) Steiner, Gene Steiner and Mary Steiner; many other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Cecilia Steiner; one brother, Harold Steiner; and sister-in-law, Sharon Steiner.
