James P. Baumann, 59, of Paris passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.
Jim was born on November 5, 1961, in Troy, MO the son of Walter J. and Doris Dyer Baumann. He married Kathy Gibson on March 23, 1991, in Holstein, MO and she survives at the home. Other survivors include one son; Rick (Mary) Baumann of Paris, a daughter; Jennifer Baumann (Troy Boshears III) of Paris, MO; one sister; Norma Bassler of Paris, MO and one granddaughter Olivia Baumann, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law Vic Bassler.
Jim graduated from Warrenton High school in 1979. Jim and Kathy moved from Warrenton, MO in 1995 to Paris where they farmed and raised cattle and hogs. He enjoyed the outdoors deer hunting and fishing. He also liked to work on his tractors, but most enjoyed the time he spent with his family.
A Celebration of James Life was held Saturday, April 17, 2021, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Agnew Funeral Home in Paris, MO. A second day of Celebration was held Sunday, April 18, 2021, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, MO. Funeral Services followed, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Interment followed the funeral service at Lippstadt Cemetery in Warrenton, MO.
