Mr. James "Jim" Howell Aiken of Warrenton, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020. He was born June 28, 1940, in Eldorado, AR, to Claude and Beatrice (Nee: Odom) Aiken. He had reached the age of 80 years and 4 months.
Jim served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan during the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of the local VFW Post 2180 and served as Post Chaplin and Post Surgeon. After his military service, he worked as an Industrial Salesman and earned the Top Salesman of the Year several times. Jim was a longtime faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In his free time, Jim always owned a boat of some sort and enjoyed being out on the water. He also had his pilot's license. Jim always liked being at his step grandchildren's football, baseball, and softball games.
Jim is preceded by his parents, Claude and Beatrice. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; son, Kevin Aiken and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Emily and Kyle Aiken; stepchildren, Brian Vogt and wife Sheri, Robyn Vogt; step-grandchildren, Brianna, Chris, and Alex Vogt; many other friends and family.
