Mr. Jacob Thomas Kane passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at his home in Warrenton. He was born on March 21, 1986, to the late John Kane and Darla (nee: Patterson) Doughty, in Lake St. Louis. Jacob had reached the age of 36 years.
Jacob worked as a landscaper, a job that he truly enjoyed. He loved to be outside. He enjoyed gaming and watching St. Louis Blues Hockey. Jacob was a jokester and loved to make people laugh, especially his kids. He also liked to go fishing in his spare time. His one true passion was for his eight children. Jacob was a good dad and enjoyed every second spent with his kids.
Jacob Kane was preceded in death by his parents, John and Darla. Those who will remain grateful for having shared in his life are his children, Isabell, Laylah, Shaden, John, Railyn, Lennox, Hadley and Bennington; three siblings, Josh Kane and wife Trisha, Heather Hill and husband Jeff and their family, and Ally Burjoski; other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of Jacob's life will be held on Monday, Oct. 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A memorial service will immediately follow, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Steven Kohler officiating.
