Mr. Harold Edward Swaim, Jr., went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Harold was born on September 4, 1933 in Bismark, ND to the late Harold and Marie (nee: Lee) Swaim. He had reached the age of 87 years.
Harold served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Bernice Marie Rogers on September 29, 1962 in the First Baptist Church in St. Johns, MO. They celebrated 47 wonderful years together before her passing in 2010. Harold was a faithful member of the Warrenton Baptist Church for many years. During his years at the church, he served as a Deacon. Harold enjoyed spending his time reading a good book, doing woodworking and playing Mexican Train Dominos. He also had a very special interest in Space and astronauts. Harold was a loving husband, brother, son, uncle and friend.
Harold Swaim was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bernice; his parents, Harold and Marie; three brothers, Jerry Swaim, Robert Swaim and Kenneth Swaim. Those who are grateful for having shared in Harold's life are his sister, Marie Swaim and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Harold's life will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM. A burial with full military honors will follow at Warrenton City Cemetery.
