Glen Weber "Web" Gaskin

Glen Weber “Web” Gaskin, 99, formerly of Warrenton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019 at The Cottages of Lake St. Louis. He was born on Feb. 1, 1920, in Clay City, Illinois.

Web served in the United States Air Force, Army Air Corp throughout WWII. He retired after 37 years with the Ford Motor Company. Web lived in Warren County since 1958, where he served on the Wright City School Board and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved woodworking, gardening, and was a handyman for the entire family and neighborhood. Web enjoyed working on family genealogy and sharing newfound information with this family. He loved spending his winters in Pensacola, Florida and watching St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball. Web loved to read National Geographics and was a self-taught computer expert and nature photographer.

Mr. Web. Gaskin was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Vondell McEwen in 1983 and his second wife Juanita Brewer Gaskin in 2017, his two children, Linda Jo Gaskin Casner in 2007 and Jerry Robert Churchill in 2016; his parents, Roy W. Gaskin in 1980 and his mother Letita Elizabeth Stewart Gaskin a few years later. He is survived by his son, Glen Weber Gaskin II and wife Troy Anne; grandchildren, Glen Churchill, Grego Churchill, Sandy Phelps, Tricia Haut, Bryan Gaskin, and Justin Casner; one sister, Lucille Gaskin Scarmuzzi; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Services for Mr. Web Gaskin were private.

The family was served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
