Gladys Griesenauer passed away on October 11, at the age of 88. Gladys was born August 14, 1935, in Florissant, to the late Earl and Orpha Herriman nee Zaker.
Gladys was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was a very devout catholic and was active with the St. Vincent DePaul Society for 25 years. Gladys enjoyed reading and sewing. She enjoyed spending time with her children, her grandchildren were the twinkle in her eye though, she enjoyed babysitting them when they were little, and was always at events to show her support no matter what it was.
She is survived by her two sons, Randy Griesenauer of Wright City, and Rick (Patty) Griesenauer of Warrenton; granddaughter, Megan Griesenauer; grandson, Jacob Griesenauer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Griesenauer, her parents, and 7 siblings. She will be dearly missed by her family.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Warrenton. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to St. Vincent DePaul Society in the care of Pitman Funeral Home.
