Mrs. Gladys Ann Findlay (nee: Meyer), 74, Wright City, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at her home. She was born on March 23, 1945 in Hermann, MO., to Oswald and Florance (nee: Vollertson) Meyer.
Gladys was married to Robert Findlay on May 25, 1963. To this union, two children were born. Gladys enjoyed spending time with her family as well as gardening. She enjoyed painting and doing crafts. On Saturdays, she enjoyed watching Zeke's soccer games. Playing with Elijah always made her smile. She was always excited for an adventure, from climbing trees to searching for antiques. Gladys will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Gladys Findlay was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her parents, Oswald and Florance; one brother Homer Meyer. She is survived by her children, Don Findlay, Debbie Polston and husband Dan; five grandchildren, Amber Smith and husband Luke, Danielle Moss and husband Jason, Justin Findlay and wife Adina, Lauren Brooks and husband Joe, Lindsey Polston; two great-grandchildren, Zeke and Elijah; two siblings, Robert Meyer and wife Phyllis, Randy Meyer and wife Dorothy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
