The Missouri Humanities Council (MHC), in partnership with Luxenhaus Farm in Marthasville, will offer a variety of German Folk Arts workshops, teaching participants of all skill levels, about traditional 18th century German folk arts and crafts.The workshops are April 20, April 27, May 4 and May 11 at Luxenhaus Farm, 18055 State Highway O, Marthasville. Times vary by workshop. Topics offered this year include ceramic hand-building, blacksmithing, penny rug making, basket weaving, indigo dying, woodworking and candle making.
