Genevieve "Dot" Sherman of Wentzville, passed away on February 12, at the age of 93.
Genevieve was born on August 31, 1930, to Hubert A. and Hulda A. Niederer. She was the beloved wife of William "Pete" Sherman of Wentzville, for 71 years; She is survived by, James (Julia) Sherman Theresa (Mark) Smythe, William Sherman, Gary (Sandy) Sherman, Daniel (Mindy) Sherman, Sheila (Pat Turner) Rhodes, Gail (Mike) Orf; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren, also survived by her brother-in-law, John Maynard; She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Hulda Niederer, her husband, William "Pete" Sherman, brothers, Joe (Violet) Niederer, Greg (Mary) Niederer, Kenneth (Leona) Niederer, Raymond (Alice) Niederer, Sisters, Rose (Clarence) Schulte, Ethel (Jerry) Briley, Margie Maynard, daughter-in-law, Peggy Sherman, son-in-law, Dennis Rhodes.
Dot was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church, The Ladies Sodality, and St. Monicas's Sodality Quilters. She enjoyed quilting, dancing, singing and playing music. She enjoyed traveling and attending area picnics. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially family gatherings. She lived her whole life in the Flint Hill area. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
