Mrs. Evelyn Martha Brandwein (nee: Lieneke), 91, Warrenton, peacefully entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Friday, May 1, 2020. She was born on July 26, 1928, in Chamois, Mo., to the late Florence and Ethel (nee: Townley) Lieneke.
Evelyn was married to Bill Dale Brandwein on October 15, 1948, in Chamois, Mo. They celebrated 68 years of marriage before his passing in 2015. To this union, five sons were born. She attended the Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton for many years. She enjoyed going to church and being involved with her church family. Evelyn was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed raising her five sons. She liked to sew and quilt and watch St. Louis Cardinal Baseball. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and also enjoyed planning parties for her family.
Evelyn Brandwein was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill; her parents, Florence and Ethel; one daughter-in-law, Pam. She is survived by her five sons, Chuck and wife, Mary, David and wife, Anna, Dennis and wife, Sharlla, Allen and Paul; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Brandwein will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton, 10 a.m.- noon.
A committal service will follow the visitation at the Oakland Cemetery in Chamois, Mo.
