Elmer Vahle passed away on Dec. 9, 2020, at the age of 80. His service was December 19, 2020, and he is interred at the Wright City Cemetery.
His family is holding a memorial event and invites anyone who knew Elmer to come to the open house. Please share any memories or stories of Elmer you may have.
The open house with refreshments will be Sunday, June 6, from noon to 3 p.m. at Immanuel UCC, Fellowship Hall, in Wright City.
Any memorials can be given in Elmer's name to Immanuel UCC or to The Diabetes Association.
He was married to Melba Vahle for 49 years before her passing in 2011.
He is survived by his daughter Elaine Causevic, sister Velma LaFave, and many other family and friends.
