Eldon E. Gausmann, 85, Warrenton, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at New Florence Nursing Home.
Eldon was born January 19, 1935, in Warrenton, to the late Enoch and Edna Gausmann nee Requat.
Eldon was a lifelong farmer and resident of Warren County. Eldon enjoyed bird hunting and watching Cardinal baseball with his brother Paul. He was a lifelong member of Frieden's U.C.C. Warrenton and enjoyed Country Gospel music. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his two nephews, Russell Ockerhausen, of Warrenton, and Jon (Julia) Ockerhausen, of Olathe, Kansas; three nieces, Kathy (Larry) Gruenefeld, of High Hill, Cindy Winford, of Smithville and Lisa (Roger) Devenport, of Jonesburg; several great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Enoch Gausmann; mother, Edna Gausmann; brother, Paul Gausman; sisters, Lois Ockerhausen and Clara Bockting.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S.Highway 47, Warrenton, from 4-7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Feb. 21, at Frieden's U.C.C., Warrenton, at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.
