Eldon August Reese, 74, of Jonesburg, MO., fell asleep in death on February 26, 2021, with his wife Karen at his side. Karen cared for him at home until a week before his death when he was hospitalized.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Wilma Reese, and his first wife Rosemary.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Karen and their children, Jonathan (Dana), Rebekah (Bill), Samuel (Katrina), Sheila (Buddy), April (Eddie), grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he attended the Warrenton, MO congregation. He retired from the post office after 25 years as a rural carrier. Eldon loved people, farming/tractors, and talking to others about the promises found in the Bible.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and for the safety of all, the memorial service will be held online with Zoom on Sunday, March 14th at 3 p.m.
