Edward "Bud" Kiefer passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 84 in Dardenne Prairie, MO. He was born on December 5, 1936, to Edward and Marie (Thornton) Kiefer. He was raised by his mother and step-father, John King. Edward worked as a laborer in construction for many years. He enjoyed auto racing and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Schmidt) Kiefer; two daughters, Linda (Mark) Schaefer of Millstadt, IL and Christine Kiefer of TX; two step-sons, Peter (Tina) Passiglia of Wentzville, MO and Chris (significant other, Julie) Passiglia of Ballwin, MO; two brothers, Robert (Shirlene) King of Fenton, MO and Jack King of Potosi, MO; three grandchildren, Casey Schaefer, Deavon (Lillie) Grey, Jake Whisler; and great-granddaughter, Elena Grey; He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie (Thornton) Kiefer, stepfather, John King, and sister Patricia Lacey. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, Missouri 63385.
