Mrs. Edna Lix (nee: Drunert) of Warrenton, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Edna was born on February 11, 1934, in New Truxton, MO, to the late Milton and Ollie (nee: Keithley) Drunert. She had reached the age of 86 years 8 months and 11 days.
Edna was married to Paul Lix on October 11, 1953, in Truxton, Mo. They celebrated 67 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing earlier this year. To this union one child was born, Susan. Edna was a member of Frieden’s UCC in Warrenton. She enjoyed sewing and traveling with Paul on bus trips. She was especially fond of her only grandchild, Matthew. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with him and then also enjoyed being a Great Grandma.
Edna Lix was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul; her parents, Milton and Ollie; two sisters, Marjorie Simpson, Marion Bothe, and one brother, Fred Drunert. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lenzenhuber and husband Karl; one grandson, Matthew and wife Kathleen; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Thomas, and Monica;
The family will be celebrating Edna’s life on Friday, October 30, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Warrenton City Cemetery.
