Edna E Cameron (nee: Laird) passed away Thursday, November 23,  at Harton Senior Living, where she had been a resident for five years. She had recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Edna was born on October 5, 1933, to Levi and Carrie (nee: Blake) Laird.

Edna was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Cameron on November 19, 1949, at Frieden's UCC in Warrenton. To this union, four children were born.  Bob and Edna enjoyed 67 years together, before his passing on August 14, 2017.  Edna was awarded the Gold Veteran's Badge on August 1, 2018, from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. She enjoyed 40 years at SAF Holland in Warrenton. She was a member of the Pendleton United Methodist Church. Before Bob's passing, they enjoyed fellowship and helping at church events. They spent many hours gardening, going to garage sales and frequent trips to the coffee shop.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Carrie Laird; husband, Robert (Bob) Cameron; sons, Ricky and Glenn Cameron; grandson, Zachariah Cameron; siblings, Frank Laird, Linda Laird, Dorothy Schulze and Eugene Laird. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Schamma (Ted) and son Brad Cameron (Diana); 11 grandchildren, Matthew Nordwald (Becky), Angela Nordwald, Cory Cameron (Kathryn), Cody Cameron, Robbie Cameron (Angelia), Trevor Kimminau (Laura), Michelle Cameron, Carrie Cameron, Stacey Price (Brad), Ashley Cameron and Alanna Sexton; siblings, Donald Laird (Kathy), Betty Redecker (Charles); sister in law, Shirley Young; brother in law, Fred Flake; she was also blessed with numerous great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.
