Dorothy Marie Turner gained her wings on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 67. Dorothy was born on March 9, 1955, to the late Ernest Turner Sr. and the late Lucille (nee: Heidbrink) Turner.
Dorothy was originally from Warrenton before making her home in Belleville, IL. Dorothy was known for her love of butterflies and her strong faith in the Lord. Dorothy was a very caring lady and touched many hearts during her time on earth. Dorothy loved spending time with family and friends, especially her son Richard and grandson Devon. They were both very dear to her heart. She loved shopping at the "Get Me Stores," as she called them, and attending services at The Father's House Church in Belleville.
Dorothy was proceeded in death by her parents, Ernest Sr. and Lucille Turner. She is survived by her son, Richard Turner of St. Louis, MO; grandson, Devon Turner, and his mother, Leslie Hageman, of Cuba, MO; five siblings, Lisa Patrick of Mexico, MO, Ernie Turner and wife Connie of Middletown, MO, Thersa Prior and husband John of Jonesburg, MO, Kenny Turner Sr. of New Florence, MO, and Tammy Powell and husband Chuck of Montgomery City, MO; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton.
