Ms. Dorothy Marie Schmuecker, of Warrenton, MO, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021. She was born on October 13, 1926, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Paul and Alma (nee: Rieso) Schmuecker. Dorothy had reached the age of 94 years, 3 months, and 30 days.
Dorothy was a long-time resident of Lakeview Estates and was a member of the Lakeview Red Hats Society and the Lakeview Ladies Club. She enjoyed doing a variety of crafts and painting. Dorothy loved gambling and going to "the boat" every chance she got. She was also an avid animal lover, especially her dogs, Sandy, Missy, and Buddy, plus many others.
Dorothy Schmuecker was proceeded in death by her parents, Paul and Alma; one sister, Jenny Haggard. Those grateful for having shared in Dorothy's life are her dear friends, Diana King and her family, Linda Hopke and her family; her Red Hat Sisters; many other friends.
A visitation for Ms. Dorothy Schmuecker will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 beginning at 12:00 p.m. A burial will follow at the Warrenton City Cemetery.
