Donna Marie Rogers 71 of Jonesburg passed away on June 14, at her home surrounded by family. Donna was born September 28, 1951, in St. Louis, to Donald and Delores Edgerton nee Froehlich.

Donna is survived by her husband, Dennis of 50 years, of Jonesburg and three daughters and their spouses: Dawne and Herb Harris of Gardner, Kansas, Dallena and Michael Nash of Melissa, Texas, and Denise and Craig Rakers of Montgomery City.  She is also survived by one brother, David Edgerton and one sister Delores Edgerton, both of Huntsville, and eight grandchildren; T.J. Garrett of Jonesburg, Harlee and Kaysee Harris of Gardner, Kansas, Sarah and Ian Nash of Melissa, Texas, and Ethan, Griffen, and Ava Rakers of Montgomery City.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald and Daniel Edgerton and son-in-law Timothy Joseph Garrett.

Donna was a Lutheran by faith and an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesburg.  She served her church in many different roles of the church.  She was Grandma Donna to a number of children in the church, she taught Sunday School, helped with children's programs and always had refreshments ready for the congregation of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Donna was also a driver for OATS, Inc. for 40 years. Every rider she came in contact with, she brought a smile to their face.  Donna also enjoyed plants, flower gardening and attending events with her grandchildren and the children that called her Grandma Donna.

A come-and-go Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, June 25th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesburg. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to Montgomery County Senior Center. Donations will be used to help seniors in need, those that Donna spent her life serving.
