Donald Raymond Zuhone, 76, Wright City, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019.
He is survived by his beloved wife Betty Zuhone nee Tappmeyer, of Wright City; daughters, Jill (Chris) Mueller, Wendy Nordwald; brother, Larry (Vicki) Zuhone; sister, Sue (Steve) Shaw; two granddaughters, Nicole Nordwald, Maci Nordwald; grandson, Tanner Mueller; He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Casper Zuhone; mother, Garnet Cecelia Zuhone; brother, Michael Zuhone; granddaughter, Grace Nordwald.
Donald worked in the telephone industry 33 years from a lineman to a contract administrator. He loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and enjoyed shooting trap. He served as Wright City Fire Chief and was president of the Wright City Lions Club. Don especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren and attending their events. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, from 9-11:30 a.m.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, also at the funeral home, at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be at Wright City Cemetery, Wright City.
