Mrs. Fern "Diane" Jones (nee: Moore), of Warrenton passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was born on November 22, 1951, in Gideon, MO, to the late John and Eva Moore (nee: Horn). Diane had reached the age of 70 years.
Diane was united in marriage to Jerry Jones Sr. in 1967 and shared many wonderful years together. To this union, four children were born, Ed, Sarah, Jerry and Samantha.
Diane loved spending time camping on their property on the Gasconade River, and could be found on the river banks, as she loved to fish. She also loved to spend time in the kitchen cooking and making fudge for her family. Her children and grandchildren were what she cherished most, and she loved to spend time with all of them.
Those who are grateful for having shared in Diane's life are her children, Ed Jones and wife Wendi, Sarah Verman and husband Billy, Jerry Jones, Jr. (Dana Crawford) and Samantha Richardson and husband Tyler; her grandchildren, Laura (Jeremy) Biggs, Elsa Steiner, Casey (Josh) Burton, Dylan Jones (Angie Politte), Michael (Kayla) Jones, Megan (Nicole) Jones, Drew Jones, Elijah Jones, Issac Jones, Charlee Jo Richardson, Jayse Jones, and Luke Richardson; great-grandchildren, Ella, Evan, Carson, Lena, Kaleb, Kameron, Areia Sunshine and Cade; dear sisters, Rosie, Bonnie, Barbara; and brother, Johnny. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, John Oliver and Eva Mae Moore; her sisters, Fay, Wanda, Goldie and Jean; and her brother-in-law Ben. Diane was a beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, dear aunt, and friend to many; she will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Diane will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. An 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, at Liberty Bible Baptist Church in Big Springs, MO.
