Mrs. Delores "Babe" Janelle Aston, of Warrenton, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Babe was born on December 24, 1929 in Farber, to the late Thomas and Clara (nee: Dothage) Cook. She had reached the age of 93 years.

Babe was united in marriage to Clarence Donald Aston on July 18, 1948, in Warrenton. This union was blessed with two daughters, Pamela and Kandi and one son, Murray. Babe worked at Katie Jane Nursing Home in Warrenton for many years. She later retired from Dollar General. Babe was a long time member of College United Methodist Church in Warrenton. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, baking, canning and sewing. She also enjoyed gardening and watching birds and squirrels in her yard. Babe enjoyed watching sporting events and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan as well as a St. Louis Blues Hockey fan. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with her companion, George McCune and even got to kiss the Barney Stone. Babe's greatest joy came from caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Babe was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald; her parents, Thomas and Clara; one son, Murray Aston; four siblings; Warren Cook, Bert Cook, Loretta Polston and Hazel Slatten. Her family who will remain grateful for having shared in Babe's life are her daughters, Pamela Aston and Kandi Panhorst and husband Ryan; grandchildren, Jennifer Frye (Josh Gateson), Chloe Michaud (Josh), Ava Panhorst; four great grandchildren, Duncan Eudy, Jocelyn Smith (Skyler Klein), Joshua Graves, Rally Wyrick; one great great grandchild; Shylo Klein; one sister in law, Marge Cook.

A visitation for Babe Aston will be held on Wednesday, January 11,  at Martin Funeral Home from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. A second visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. Funeral services will also be on Thursday, January 12, at 11 A.M. followed by a committal service at Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations in honor of Babe Aston are suggested to the American Cancer Society c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main Street, Warrenton, MO 63383.
