Dean Martin passed away at his home in Wright City on October 27, 2021, at the age of 65. He was born on February 23, 1956, in Troy, Missouri, to Forrest and Delores “Pinky" Castello Martin.
Dean grew up in Foristell and attended Immanuel Lutheran schools in Wentzville. He married his sweetheart of 25 years in July 2000 and they enjoyed 46 years together.
Dean was a machinist and bodyman who loved riding motorcycles, building things, and hunting. He was a master gunsmith who loved repairing, shooting, and talking about all things guns and bullets.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Martin (nee Hoeft); two sisters, Marian Knisley of Wright City and Diane (Frank) Odom of Licking, MO; five brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, ten nieces, two nephews, and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Dean will be missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
