Daniel J. "Dan" Niederschulte passed away in Washington, MO, on June 26, 2022 at the age of 62. He is survived by his significant other, Donna Meinershagen of Leslie, MO; mother, Anna (Tenney) Niederschulte of Overland, MO; son, Dylan (Lydia) Niederschulte of Robertsville, MO, and his brother, Cole McFerrin of Marthasville, MO; brother, Steve Niederschulte of Bridgeton, MO; sister, Deanna (Jon) Steffins of Ballwin, MO; nephew, Steven (Izzy) Niederschulte; two nieces, Megan (Jeremiah) Garrett and Shaina (Vince) Costello; two great‑nieces, Molly Niederschulte and Cora Costello; three great‑nephews, Jeremiah Garrett, Lincoln Garrett and Cooper Costello; and grandchildren, Letty and Remi. He is preceded in death by his father, John "Hank" Niederschulte.

Dan, better known as Mr. Fix‑It, was a hands-on kind of guy who could fix almost anything. He especially enjoyed woodworking, among other projects. Above all, he had a big heart and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Dan will be held Saturday, July 9, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Augusta, MO. Funeral services will immediately follow at Ebenezer U.C.C. in Augusta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Missouri State Parks at mostateparks.com/page/74566/donations.
