Colette  Schwendemann

Mrs. Colette Schwendemann (nee: Napier), of Warrenton passed away on Friday, April 24, at her home. She was born on February 14, 1940 in St. Louis, to the late Elmer and Evelyn (nee: Fuller) Napier. She had reached the age of 86.

Colette was united in marriage to Harlan Schwendemann on October 26, 1965 in New Melle. Together they spent 60 glorious years of marriage. Colette enjoyed a variety of crafts, such as oil painting and crocheting. She loved playing board games and the time she spent with her family while playing. She was very involved with her children and grandchildren and loved each of them very much. Colette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Colette was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Evelyn; two children, Kirk Gamblin and Todd Schwendemann; two brothers, Elmer Napier and Fred Napier; one sister, Mary Applebaum. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Harlan; two children, Laurie Gamblin and Kelly Haines and husband Richard; nine grandchildren, Cory Landreth (Sara), Andrew Landreth (Melinda),Dusti Gamblin, Christopher Gamblin, Nick Gamblin, Jordin Feldmeier, Angela Irvan, Andrianne Stevens, Ashley Reagan; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three siblings, Joe Napier, John Napier, Ronald Napier (June); Many nieces and nephews and other relatives. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Memorial Service will begin on Wednesday, May 6, at 10 A.M. Memorial donations may be given to Holy Rosary Church.
