Cheri Ann Bauer, loving daughter, sister, mother, Nana, aunt and friend, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2023. She was 69.

Cheri was born on April 18, 1954, to Edward and Jennie Bauer. The second of 6 children, she attended Warren Co. High School, graduating in 1972. During her time in school, she was able to showcase her love of music and singing, performing both solo and as a member of the choir and earning awards and scholarships as a result of her beautiful voice.

Though she lived most of her life in mid-Missouri, she loved to travel, visiting many amazing places, including Paris, London and Hong Kong. When she was closer to home, she sought out the calm beauty of nature and animals of all kinds, often taking and sharing pictures of the wildlife that gathered on her front lawn. She had an impressive green thumb and took great pleasure in watching things grow. She enjoyed good food, especially good chocolate, and shared her mother’s skill in cooking.

Cheri will be lovingly remembered by her children, Audrey Moellering (Mike Livingston), Lauren Swift, and Lindsey (Craig) Kelley and was a proud Nana to her grandchildren, Damien, Gavin, Hazen, Adelyn, Kamden, Dakota and Ellie, as well as her great-grandsons Khydence and Zhyller. She is also survived by her loving mother, Jennie Bauer, her siblings Edward “Tuffy” Bauer, Peggy (Denny) Schwerdt, Patti Kertz, Todd (Suzanne) Bauer, and Jennifer (Chris) Schipper, along with numerous other cherished family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Edward Henry Bauer, as well as her treasured Aunts Jackie and Georgia and will no doubt welcome being reunited with all of the family and friends that have gone before her.

Although no funeral service is being held, family and friends will be notified once a Celebration of Life has been arranged.
