Charles Prior, passed away, Friday, December 4, 2020, at the age of 97.
Loving husband of the late Wilma Prior nee Joost; dear father of Henry Prior and the late Charlene Prior and his late foster daughter, Lelia Darnell; devoted grandfather of Charles (Jade) Prior, Emily Prior, Christopher Darnell, Kyle Darnell, Bailey Ressegger, and Jessye Ressegger; loving grand dogs Gunner and Ruger; brother of Ruby Hess and the late Goldie Wright and Sylvia Yocum.
Mr. Prior was a letter carrier and clerk in the Warrenton Post Office for over 25 years and retired in 1988. He served in his country honorably during WWII in the United States Army.
Graveside service at Warrenton City Cemetery, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. A service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may sign the family’s online guestbook at Schrader.com.
