Mrs. Celeste Bernice Schriefer (nee: Sheehan) of Defiance, passed away on Monday, August 4, at her home. She was born on October 8, 1928, in St. Louis, to the late William and Ethel (nee: Wray) Sheehan.
Celeste was preceded in death by her loving husband, John; her parents; one granddaughter. She is survived by her children, John A Schriefer, Bill Schriefer and Kathy Guttman; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Celeste Schriefer will be held on Friday, August 8, from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held on Friday, beginning at 12 P.M. with Pastor George Dohm officiating. A burial will follow at the St. Paul's Cemetery in Marthasville.
