Ms. Carolyn Diane Griffith (nee Hrishenko) of Warrenton, passed away on April 30, after a long illness. She was born on June 14, 1958, in Bellevue, PA, to Michael and Patricia (nee: Yanisha) Hrishenko. Carolyn had reached the age of 64.
Carolyn was devoted to her lifelong partner, Alan Clark. She enjoyed the many outdoor wilderness vacations they took. Most of all, the trip they took to Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area. She loved being outdoors and spent much of her time outside. Carolyn was an animal lover too. She had several of her own horses, that she loved dearly, which gave her the strength to make it through her long illness. She also had many cats that she took in and cared for over the years. Taking care of her animals brought her most of her joy. Carolyn also enjoyed being out on their boat at the lake. Carolyn was a loving and caring partner, daughter, sister, and friend to many.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Hrishenko. Surviving family members include her Life partner, Alan Clark; her father, Mike Hrishenko; one brother, Michael Hrishenko, and wife Diane; other relatives and many friends.
The family will honor Carolyn's life on Wednesday, May 17.
