Burton Franklin Dothage, 98, Warrenton, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019.

He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon (Steve) Polston, of Warrenton, and Carol LeGrand, of Warrenton; daughter-in-law, Kathy Dothage, of Rich Foundation; brother, Roy (Robbye) Dothage, of Warrenton; two grandsons, John LeGrand, Jr., of Parkville, and Ryan Polston, of Warrenton; five granddaughters, Rebecca (Jim) LeGrand-Baker, of Lake St. Louis, Jana Dothage, of St. Louis, Kate (Ron) Rockwood, of Jefferson City, Lee Dothage, of Belle, and Rachel Polston, of Kansas City, Missouri; three great-grandsons, Grady Rockwood, John Robert Baker, and James Baker; four great-granddaughters, Madeline Rockwood, Claire Rockwood, Audrey Rockwood, and Grace LeGrand; many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Dothage; mother, Emma Dothage; wife, Clara Dothage; son, Robert Dothage; brothers Howard Dothage, Elger Dothage and Orville Dothage and sisters, Addie Bunge and Grace Gloe.

Burton served in the U.S. Army. Burton was a farmer for most of his life and general laborer until retirement. He enjoyed gardening and hunting. He was a member of Frieden's UCC. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, from 4-7 p.m.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, also at the funeral home, at 11 a.m.

Burial will be at Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.
