Following a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring a prayer breakfast for the Daniel Boone area. It will take place at the St. Paul’s UCC Fellowship Hall in Marthasville on Feb. 28.
Serving of a pancake and sausage breakfast will begin at 6:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 7 a.m. There is no charge for the meal.
The guest speaker is the presiding commissioner of the Warren County Commission, Joe Gildehaus. Accompanying him will be Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison.
The main topic will be 2023 Warren County projects and answering questions concerning county issues and programs.
There will also be a presentation by the Washington Medical and Dental Mission to Honduras. Participants will travel there in March to do health care in a remote region of the country. There will be baskets on the tables for those wishing to make a donation to support the mission.
A person does not need to live in the Boone area to attend the prayer breakfast. All are welcome.
