Beverly “Lucy” Lynn Wideman passed away on December 18, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 67. Beverly was born August 31, 1953, in Portsmouth, VA to Edward and Barbara Cofer nee Cleveland.
Beverly worked for KWRE for 36 years and she dearly loved her time there. Bev loved traveling, and her dogs, but as most anyone who knew Bev knew she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially her grandchildren they were her light.
Beverly is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Robert Wideman of Warrenton, MO, 2 sons; Paul Wideman of Hawk Point, MO, Brian (Jennifer) Wideman of Hawk Point, MO, 7 grandchildren; Riley, Samuel, Alyssa, Adyson, Adrianna, Alexandria, Arik, two brothers; Robertson (Christine) Cofer of St. Louis, MO, Edward Cofer, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, five sisters; Janet (Jon) Achmad of Baltimore, MD, Cheryl (Tom) Vanderhoof of Huntsville, AL, Cecelia (Rod) Wheeler of Seattle, WA, Cindy (Jerry) McDowell of St. Charles, MO, Laurie (Ron) Ellison of Overland Park, KS. Beverly is preceded in death by father, Edward Cofer, mother, Barbara Cofer. Beverly will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 4, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Hwy 47, Warrenton, MO 63383.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 4, 2021, 6:00 p.m., at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Interment will follow at Fairview United Methodist Church, Grubville, MO.
