Mrs. Barbara Earlene (nee: Wilson) Wilken, of Warrenton, MO., passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home. She was born on December 20, 1952 to the late Earl and Eva (nee: Evans) Wilson. Barbara had reached the age of 69 years.
Barbara was united in marriage to Michael Wilken on June 19, 1971 in Valley Park, MO. To this union, a daughter, Michelle was born. Barbara and Mike spent 50 wonderful years together. Barbara worked at Kroger in Valley Park for many years, managing the "Cheese Shop". She enjoyed listening dancing to Country Music. She also loved to travel. Barbara was a loving wife, with her own unique personality, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Eva Wilson; one sister, Teresa Castiaux. She is survived by her husband, Michael Wilken; daughter Michelle Flake; two grandchildren, Hunter and Kaelee; one sister, Bonnie Monroe; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Barbara Wilken will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Newburg Cemetery in Newburg, MO.
